CAJAMARCA (3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS)

Day 1 ……. – Cajamarca
Arrival, reception and transfer from the airport or bus terminal to the hotel.

Day 2 Cajamarca
Breakfast. Morning visit Cumbemayo (3,500 metres/10,600 feet above sea level) a group of archaeological sites with a pre-Inca aqueduct cut into the rock, spectacular geological rock formations, petroglyphs and boulders and grottoes.
Afternoon City Tour visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral with its splendid 17th century facade, the Churches of San Francisco and Belen, the Ransom Room which was filled with gold and silver by the last Inka who was held prisoner there by Francisco Pizarro. From the Santa Apolonia hill, you have a magnificent panoramic view of the town and the fertile, green valley surrounding it.

Day 3 Cajamarca - ……..
Breakfast. Transfer to airport or bus terminal.
