During the 16th century, Francisco Pizarro, Conquistador and first Spanish Governor of Peru, built his mansion in Cusco over the remains of an old Inca palace and called it “The House of the Four Busts”. This building was remodelled and renovated in 1976 and enlarged in 1996 to become the Hotel Libertador Cusco. It is located in the old centre of Cusco, next to the “Koricancha” the Temple of the Sun and about 6 blocks from the Main Square. Rooms are finely decorated and have all comfort that is required by a five star hotel. It has a restaurant overlooking a colonial patio, a coffee shop and a large bar with a beautiful Inca stone wall. Meeting rooms.
