LIMA – HUARAZ – CHAVÍN – LIMA (4DAYS / 3 NIGHTS)

Departure by car or bus, arrival in Huaraz . Reception at the bus terminal and transfer to the selected hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Whole day-excursion down the Valley of the Santa river to the new town of Yungay. The former town was completely destroyed by an earthquake and avalanche in l970. The tour continues up to the lagoons of Llanganuco between the Huascaran and the Huandoy snow-clad peaks. Picnic lunch included.

Breakfast at hotel. Whole day-excursion to the Chavin de Huantar fortress in the Conchucos Valley. Chavin is one of the most ancient pre-Inca civilizations and the ruins one of the oldest ceremonial centres of Ancient Peru. Picnic lunch included.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to bus terminal.
