PUNO-COPACABANA-SUN ISLAND-COPACABANA-PUNO, OVERNIGHT AT CATAMARAN (2 days/1 night)

Day 1 Puno – Sun Island
Departure at 6.30 in the morning by bus from Puno to the Bolivian town of Copacabana (3 hours). Visit of the town and its Cathedral dedicated to the Dark Virgin. One hour Catamaran ride to the South side of Sun Island. Lunch on board. Two-hour land tour to the South Side visiting the Inca Gardens, the Inca Steps, the Inca water Springs. Sun Island Ethno Eco Complex and attending the Water ceremony.
Continue two-hour land tour to the North Side of the Sun Island visiting Challapampa native village, the Archaeological Museum, Chincana Holy Temple, Sailing on typical native fisherman boats and attending the following activities: Kallawaya ceremony at Chicana Temple and taking part in the soft trekking on an Inca Trail. Dinner and Sun island folkloric demonstration on board. Overnight on board

Day 2 Sun Island – Puno
Buffet breakfast on board. A one hour Catamaran ride takes you back to Copacabana and a further 3 hour bus ride to Puno.
